Point Your Kids To Jesus
 
Get ready for exciting wilderness thrills as you head out to beautiful SonRise National Park!
 
Kids will be awestruck by snow-capped mountains, thundering waterfalls, wildflower meadows bursting with color and amazing animals like soaring eagles, friendly huskies and herds of caribou. 
 
As kids explore SonRise National Park, they’ll learn the most important survival skill of all: they can always depend on Jesus and His promises of true peace, true riches, true power, true love and true hope!
 
At SonRise National Park, kids will learn to trust Jesus as their all-powerful guide and Savior!

Daily Themes
SUNDAY
Theme: Peace, Be Still (Mark 4:35-41
 
Jesus gives us peace, no matter what problems we face.

Sunday's color of the day is BLUE.
MONDAY
Theme: Miraculous Meal (Mark 6:30-44, John 6:1-14)
 
Jesus knows what we need and will provide what's best for us.
 
“My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."    Philippians4:19
 
  Monday's color of the day is GREEN.
TUESDAY
Theme: It Is Written (Matthew 4:1-11)
 
Jesus shows us how to depend on God's powerful Word when we are tempted to sin.
 
“God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out."
1 Corinthians 10:13
 
  Tuesday's color of the day is ORANGE.
WEDNESDAY
Theme: The Good Shepherd (Mark 15:1-16:20; John 10:1-18)
 
Jesus loves us so much he died and rose again so that we can become members of God's family.

 Wednesday's color of the day is BROWN.
THURSDAY
There: Praise in Prison (acts 16:16-40)
 
Jesus is with us, so we can be fearless about our future.

Thursday's color of the day is RED.

Friday Evening at 7:00 p.m. SonRise National Park VBS will be coming to an end. Everyone is welcome at the closing ceremonies. Friday's color of the day is WHITE


Activities at SonRise National Park VBS
Bible Study
Each day explorers spend time in studies of God's word as it applies to the theme of the day.
Crafts
Each day there is an opportunity for explorers to make fun things that fits the theme of the day. As they take the crafts home, they have something to remember of their visit SonRise National Park VBS
Games
Each day at SonRise National Park VBS, Rangers will lead the explorers in all kinds of age appropriate fun games located in the National Park


Snacks
Every day the little explorers experience snacks that are based on the theme of each day
