Dude, It’s All About Jesus

On those hot summer days the best place to be is the beach! Cool off in the sparkling blue waves. Build a magnificent sandcastle. Explore tide pools and collect seashells. The beach is a beautiful natural playground and the perfect place for VBS! As kids explore the wonders of the beach, they’ll also discover the Big Answers to the Big Questions about Jesus, who He is and why they need Him. At SonSurf Beach Bash VBS, kids learn that there is only one truth: Jesus.
Daily Themes
SUNDAY
The Big Question: Who is Jesus?
 
The Big Answer: Jesus is God’s Son and when I meet up with Him, I discover how much God loves me.
 
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”    I John 4:9
 
Sunday's color of the day is GREEN.
MONDAY
The Big Question: Why can I trust Jesus?
 
The Big Answer: I can look up to Jesus and ask His help because He is trustworthy. 
 
“When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”       Psalm 56:3
 
  Monday's color of the day is BLUE.
TUESDAY
The Big Question: Why do I need Jesus?
 
The Big Answer: Jesus’ death and resurrection make it possible for me to join up with Him and be part of God’s family.
 
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”     John 14:6

WEDNESDAY
The Big Question: How can Jesus help me when I mess up?
 
The Big Answer: When I open up to Jesus about my sin, He forgives me and helps me make a fresh start.

THURSDAY
The Big Question: What does Jesus want me to do?
 
The Big Answer: Jesus wants me to know and love Him and get fired up
about sharing Him with others.

     Matthew 28:19-20
 
Thursday's color of the day is YELLOW.

Friday Evening at 7:00 p.m. SonSurf Beach Bash will be coming to an end. Everyone is welcome at the closing ceremonies. Friday's color of the day is BLACK


Activities at SonSurf Beach Bash VBS
Bible Study
Each day little surfers spend time in studies of God's word as it applies to the theme of the day.
Crafts
Each day there is an opportunity for surfers to make fun things that fits the theme of the day. As they take the crafts home, they have something to remember of their visit SonSurf Beach Bash VBS
Games
Each day at SonSurf Beach Bash, life guards will lead the beach goers in all kinds of age appropriate fun games located on the beach.



Snacks
Every day the little surfers experience snacks that are based on the theme of each day
